Brad Richdale for Brad Richdale Book Stinkin Thinkin--Monetizing Debt

30 years ago I changed my thinking largely in part because of Zig Ziglar and hearing his evangelistic tapes.  Zig loved the phrase "stinikin thinkin" a euphemism for negative thinking and stupidity.

Right now Congress, the House and the President all have "stinkin thinkin" they believe that we can print money out of thin air without consequence and not suffer from this form of "stinkin thinkin."

Let me assure you we can't.  Soon we will wake up in a Greece like situation but on a much larger and more violent scale.  Why?  Guns, Guns, and more guns.  I didn't see the folks in Greece shooting people--but here all bets are off.  We have the most armed citizens in the world and when the dollar weakens further it won't be pretty.

I guess the philosophy in the government is we'll deal with it when it happens.  That's nothing new.

The monetization of debt is stupid, it's a disaster in the making and yes it would be wisest right now to cut the budget by one trillion and unemploy a lot of people than have the currency collapse.  That won't happen but it would be refreshing.

The funny thing is as bad as things are I still wouldn't bet against President Obama winning again.  That smile buys a lot of votes.  I have a feeling whoever sits in the oval office in the next term they will need a lot of Advil.

When the dollar collapses and our debt isn't bought except at a much higher interest rate then the "stinkin thinkin" that's being employed now will become obvious and the reaction to it could be perilous for our country.
