Often the biggest culprit in a business venture is margins.
I wouldn't touch a business with less than a 10:1 margin (sales price to cost ratio).
Why? I've failed with bad margins, moreover the greatest successes in business have one common element, great margins.
Look at the drug industry, make a pill for 10 cents and sell it for $10. Bad margins increase the chance of failure.
